jackamo on the move

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.
So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

This Week in BA...

… I went to my second danza en el aire class. Yup, it’s official, I’m circus folk. Next stop: Cirque du Soleil.

… there was a protest on Av. 9 del Julio that lasted over 24 hours. Protestors burned tires, slept in tents in the middle of the street, and played drums through the night. Did they make their point? Who knows. They sure did piss off a lot of drivers, though.

… Weather.com lied to me and said it was 75 degrees and sunny outside. It was 65 and pouring rain. I did not bring an umbrella.

… I ordered in for dinner. Filet mignon and steak fries? Yes, please. $10? No problemo.

Glee premiered in Argentina. I do not have that channel. Sad face.

… LandingPadBA.com published one of my articles! Click here to check it out.

… The subte shut down, causing transportation chaos in the city. Subte workers were on strike, demanding a break from the general transport workers’ union (UTA) in order to form their own.

… Creamfields, the largest concert festival in South America, was canceled. Huge bummer.

… I was bad. Real bad. I went shopping. Two words: Argentine leather.
